I was born in Manizales, Colombia, in 1994. I reside in Bogotá since my childhood and I am temporarily based in Leipzig, Germany. I'm specialized on electric and acoustic guitar playing, particularly in the genres of contemporary music, jazz, improvisation and popular music. In addition, I work as composer and arranger of contemporary and popular music, with current emphasis on sound design and production. Critique reviews and investigation on music and culture complement my career as a musician.

Collaboration with a under-resourced community (called “El Salitre) in the rural area of Bogotá, Colombia, by teaching music theory and giving guitar lessons to small children and adolescents.

Founder of La Vendimia Records, project ment to provide new escenarios for experimental music in the city, along with an engagement with other areas of knowledge, specially on political and socio-cultural matters, brought to discussions (via lecturers) on the actual space for the music happening. Lo-fi CDs and video-art complement the project.

I graduated with an Academic Merit from the Musical Studies with emphasis on Jazz & Popular Music program of this renowned university. 5 of the 10 semesters where coursed with an ‘Academic Excellence Scholarship’, which is provided by the university once every semester to the best weighted grade point average in the Arts Faculty.
My graduation project on "Jazz as a transcultural phenomena", that accompanies the musical work "Red en la voz", received an honor mention.
I'm currently coursing my Master Degree on Improvisation.
